I wouldn't come to you if I didn't have something to ask of you.

 

A: Hey, I haven't seen you for a long time.

嗨,好久不见。

B: Yeah. So, what's the matter?

对,好久不见了。什么事儿？

A: I just wanted to stop by and see if you were OK.

我只是想过来看看你怎么样。
