Usage:

“铜臭”本义是铜钱的味道。它引申义是讽刺那些只看重金钱,不注重感情的人。
The original meaning of “铜臭” is the stink of copper. It extendedly satirizes people who think money the most important and never pay attention to feelings.

Sentences:

1、Yǒu de rén kāishǐ xiàng xiào lǐngdǎo xínghuì ,Xuéxiào bèi tóngxiù wūrǎn le.
有的人开始向校领导行贿,学校被铜臭污染了。
The school is defiled because some people begin to bribe to the school leaders.
2、Suīrán tā hěn yǒu qián, kě mǎnshēn tóngxiù wèi, gēnběn méiyǒu rén yuànyì gēn tā jiāo péngyou.
