He likes Chinese traditional cultural elements, such as the hutong of Beijing and the remains of the Yuan Dynasty walls of Beijing. His furniture is of the Chinese traditional style. He has masks from Chinese operas on his doors and Chinese fans on the walls of his home. In China, he knows how to appreciate Chinese culture better than any other foreigner.
