王安石(1021年-1086年5月21日),字介甫,号半山,封荆国公。汉族。临川人(今江西省抚州市区荆公路邓家巷人),北宋杰出的政治家、思想家、文学家、改革家,唐宋八大家之一。有《王临川集》、《临川集拾遗》等存世。官至宰相,主张改革变法。诗作《元日》、《梅花》等最为著名。
Wang Anshi (1021 - May 21st, 1086), courtesy named Jiefu, with the pseudonym of Banshan, given the title of Jinguogong, was of the Han nationality, was born in Linchuan (which is now Dengjia Lane, Jingong Road, Fuzhou city, Jiangxi province), and was an excellent statesman, thinker, writer, and reformer in the Northern Song Dynasty, and was one of the "Eight Great Prose Masters of the Tang and Song". His preserved works include the Wang Linchuan Ji(Wang Anshi's collected works) and Linchuan Ji Shiyi (Supplement of Wang Linchuan Ji), etc. He was given the title of Zaixiang (Chancellor), was a great advocate for reform. His most famous poems are Yuanri (The first day of the New Year), and Meihua (Plum Blossom), etc.
