国家新闻出版广电总局在本周三颁布新政,称"一般题材电影"将不再进行剧本审查。

一般题材电影是相对于特殊题材而言的,影片主要人物和情节除涉及民族,宗教,军事,外交,公安,司法,历史事件等方面内容以外的电影都属于"一般题材"。

一般题材的电影只需在网站上公示电影的梗概以取得电影拍摄许可证,但在影院公映之前仍需经过国家新闻出版广电总局的后期电影审查。

Film scr-pts for General Subjects No Longer Require Vetting

The State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and TV released a policy on Wednesday, saying that films of "general subjects" no longer need to have their scr-pts vetted by the institution.

In contrast to the film of significant subjects, the film of general subjects category refers to the films whose main characters and plots are not related to ethnic groups, religion, military, diplomacy, public security, the judicial system or historic events.

Film makers simply need to put the synopsis of films of general subjects online to get a license to shoot; before this kind of film is released theatrically however, the films still need to be vetted by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and TV.
