Usage:

 

“拆台”的本义是拆掉舞台。比喻故意破坏，使别 人或集体丧失权力或者使事情不能顺利进行。“拆台”是离合词，可以说“拆……的台”。

“拆 台” literally means to pull down the stage. It is a metaphor of purposely making a person or a community lose power or to obstruct one thing. This is a seperable word, and we can say “拆……的台”.
