Liu Xiang, a Chinese Olympic gold medalist and world champion in 110m hurdles, is said to have registered for marriage on September 7, 2014, according to news spreading across the internet.

The photo circulating(流传) on microblog(微博) Sina Weibo, China's Twitter-like social media platform(社交平台), shows that he left the marriage registry(婚姻登记处) with a lady, who is said to be Ge Tian, a post-90s generation actress(演员).

Early in the morning, Liu Xiang also released(发布) one of their intimate photos(亲密照片) on his microblog, proving their romantic relationship(恋人关系) for the first time in the public(公开).
