(单词翻译:双击或拖选)
Wuxia (knight-errant) culture(武侠文化wǔxiá wénhuà), called chivalry culture, enjoys significant popularity and has been deep-rooted in Chine.

The wuxia culture originated from a complexity(complexity is the state of having many different parts connected or related to each other in a complicated way) of social, cultural and mental factors. The advocating of warrior spirit and practice of martial arts in ancient China were significantly affected by Confucianism, which lays the foundation for the emergence of the wuxia culture in China. “Xia” was first mentioned in Han Fei Tzu and there is also Biographies of Knight-errant in the Historical Records. With the complimentary biography for Jing Ke in the Historical Records, he has often been mentioned by men of letters from different dynasties in ancient China as the most famous knight-errant. The common Chinese always believe that besides the law and government, there is another group of people who can help them out of distress and do good to society, which is regarded as the mental foundation for the acceptance and succession of the wuxia culture over the past generations in Chine.
