这句话常用于答句，表示大家都一样 。常用作表示谦虚的客套话，当对方称赞自己时，可以用这个句子来表示对方也同样如此。也可以用于讽刺,当对方表达批评或者否定时，可以用这个句子来暗示对方也同样不怎么样。

This expression is often used in reply, which can be seen as a polite remark to show one's modesty. When someone praises you, you can use this sentence to say that you are just as good as he/she is. Sometimes it can be used ironically: when you are criticized or negated, you can use it to suggest that the one who are criticizing you is not so good either.
