(Bié tí le.)
Don't mention it.
Literally this sentence means "don’t mention this topic" or "don’t talk about this any more". When used independently, it conveys a depressed and disappointed feeling of the speaker. It’s always used to answer someone’ inquiry about the situation after something undesirable happened. The answer suggests the speaker is not in a good mood, but it does not mean he/she doesn't want to talk about it. Generally he/she will detail what the bad thing is after saying "别提了(Bié tí le)".
