Cam:  We are talking about love this week Yajie, because Valentine’s happens this week.  And because Valentine’s Day is all about love, I need to know how to say “I love you” in Chinese!

Cam:  Great. How do you say “I love you” 
YJ: it’s wo3 ai4 ni3. 
Cam: wo3 ai4 ni3
YJ: wo3 means I, 
Cam:  wo3, 
YJ: ai4 means love, 
Cam: ai4, 
YJ: ni3 means you,
Cam: ni3. 
YJ: although it sounds a little bit weird, let’s repeat this sentence. wo3 ai4 ni3.
