Yue Fei 岳飞

岳飞（1103-1142）字鹏举，汉族。北宋相州汤阴县永和乡孝悌里（今河南省安阳市汤阴县菜园镇程岗村）人。中国历史上著名战略家、军事家、民族英雄、抗金名将。岳飞在军事方面的才能则被誉为宋、辽、金、西夏时期最为杰出的军事统帅、连结河朔之谋的缔造者。同时又是两宋以来最年轻的建节封侯者。南宋中兴四将（岳飞、韩世忠、张俊、刘光世）之首。
Yue Fei (1103-1142), courtesy named Pengju, was born in Xiaoti village in Xiang prefecture (in present-day Chenggang village, Henan province) of the Han nationality. He was the famous strategist, national hero and famous general against invaders from the Jurchen-ruled Jin Dynasty. As a result of his outstanding capability in military matters, Yue Fei was known as the most outstanding military general during the periods of Song, Liao, Jin and Western Xia, as well as being the creator of the Heshuo Scheme. At the same time, he was the youngest man to carry the title of Hou (marquis) ever, since the southern and northern Song Dynasty. He was also the head of the Zhongxing Four Generals of Southern Song Dynasty, with the other three being Han Shizhong, Zhang Jun and Liu Guangshi.
