这条谚语告诉我们：即使开始在某个地方失败了，也不要气馁（něi）。只要吸取经验教训并认真努力，最终还是有可能在其他方面取得胜利。

This proverb points out that though a person failed at one point, it is better for him to strive again. As long as he learns from experience and lessons, he would succeed in another field at last.

东隅：东方日出处，指早晨。
