机器人到医院帮忙啦 Robots help with medicine delivery

Robots are being used(使用) at a children's hospital(医院) in Nanjing(南京), Jiangsu Province to locate(定位) and deliver(传送) medicine(药品) to the doctors(医生) at the dispensary counter at this pharmacy(药房), saving valuable time.

After patients(病人) scan their prescriptions(处方), the information will be sent to the robot who will collect the medicine and deliver it to the pharmacist(药剂师), who will check(核查) the medicine before giving(给) it to the waiting patient. The robot can deliver up to six kinds of medicine at a time. Over 90% of patients can get their medicine within 10 minutes.
