Never make these mistakes in Chinese 04

Foreigners often make some strange mistakes in Chinese when they study the most difficult language--- ---Chinese. We try to analyze typical sentences to correct these errors.

          Tā xiǎng zìjǐ bú gòu àiqíng zìjǐ de qīzǐ.
False: 他想自己不够爱情自己的妻子。
          Tā xiǎng zìjǐ bú gòu ài zìjǐ de qīzǐ.
True: 他想自己不够爱自己的妻子。

“爱情”和“爱”都可以翻译成love，但是，在汉语里，“爱情”是名词；“爱”是动词，应改“爱情”为“爱”，作谓语。

爱情 and 爱, both expressed by love in English，belong to different parts of speech. 爱情 is a noun and 爱 is a verb. Thus, we replac 爱情 with 爱 as the predicate.
