Ornamental hen gives birth to tiny egg 世界最小鸡蛋

An ornamental hen gave birth to an egg that is 2 centimeters long on Oct. 15, 2012. The egg weighs 2.58 grams and it is smaller than a coin of 1 Jiao. He Daiyou, owner of the ornamental hen, said that he would try to apply for the Guinness World Record for the world's smallest chicken egg.

2012年10月15日，重庆沙坪坝区歌乐山正街，一颗特殊的鸡蛋引起路人热议。记者走访发现，这个蛋长度两厘米，重2.6克，比吉尼斯世界纪录目前记载的最小鸡蛋还要小、还要轻。这只鸡蛋的主人将为这只鸡蛋申报最小鸡蛋的吉尼斯纪录。
