四人因群发短信获罪 4 men sentenced for texting spam

据《深圳特区报》报道，本周二，有四名男子因搞非法经营活动被北京的一家法院判处一年以上有期徒刑。

据法院文件显示，向长全是一个卖手机充值卡的商户，他买了20多台短信群发机器，为周彦峰、邵浩然发放垃圾短信，赚取34万元。

周某和邵某经营一家广告公司，他们也为自己的顾客群发垃圾短信。

徐旭是名技术人员，为一家网络公司群发垃圾短信获利30万元。

法院判决认为，这些人严重扰乱了市场秩序。

4 men sentenced for texting spam

Four men were sentenced to prison for more than a year by a Beijing court Tuesday for conducting illegal business operations, Shenzhen Special Zone Daily reports.

According to court documents, Xiang Changquan, who sold credits for mobile phones, bought more than 20 machines that send text message spam and received 340,000 yuan from Zhou Yanfeng and Shao Haoran for sending the spam.

Zhou and Shao ran an advertising company and also sent text message spam for their customers.

Xu Xu, a technician, received 300,000 yuan from an unnamed Internet company for sending text message spam.

The court ruling said the men had violated the market order in a serious manner.
