14-year-old girl sells(卖) newspapers(报纸) to support paralyzed(瘫痪的) mother(妈妈) and younger brother(弟弟) after father(爸爸) dies and bills(账单) pile up.

Qianqian (pseudonym) is a young girl that was spotted recently in Liaocheng, Shandong province selling newspapers. It was revealed that Qianqian has been supporting her family(家庭)that is in a very sad situation. It all started when her mother went to help a neighbor(邻居) fix their house, but fell off the roof(屋顶) and became a paraplegic. Then last winter, her father died suddenly of illness. Since, this resilient(坚韧的) young woman takes care of(照料) the family and her paralyzed mother.

Dropping out of school to take care of the family, her mother cries for her daughter and their situation. While they receive government welfare(福利), it is not enough to cover(支付) all of the medical bills and living expenses(开销), further, Qianqian's mother requires full-time care.

Qianqian has said she would like to attend school, but instead works hard so her younger brother can stay in school and she can care for the family.
