Zhu Di 朱棣

明成祖朱棣（1360－1424）是明朝第三代皇帝，1402－1424年在位。明太祖朱元璋第四子，生于应天，时事征伐，并受封为燕王，后发动靖难之役，起事攻打侄儿建文帝，夺位登基。死后原庙号为"太宗"，百多年后由明世宗朱厚熜改为"成祖"，明成祖的统治时期被称为"永乐盛世"。
Zhu Di (1360-1424), was the Emperor Chengzu of Ming, the third emperor of Ming Dynasty and the fourth son of Emperor Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang. He was on the throne from 1402 to 1424. He was born in Yingtian Period, a time of strife, and he was later known as King Yan. He launched the Battle of Jingnan, attacked his nephew Emperor Jianwen, and seized the throne. After his death, his temple name was Taizong, although it was changed to Chengzu over one hundred years later by Zhu Houcong, Emperor Shizong of Ming. The reigning period of Emperor Chengzu of Ming was known as the Prosperous Time of Yongle.
主要成就：郑和下西洋；郑和下东洋；迁都北京；下令编撰《永乐大典》。
Major achievements: Zheng He's voyage westward and eastward, moving the capital to Beijing, and compiling of Yongle Dadian (Yongle Encyclopedia).
