大连位于中国辽东半岛的最南端，东濒黄海，西临渤海。她是一座充满现代气息的滨海城市，被人们称为中国北方的“浪漫之都”。别具一格的建筑，浓郁的异国风情，古典与现代交相辉映，传统与西洋融为一体。处处体现着大连人的浪漫情怀。

Dalian lies on the southermost tip of China's Liaodong Peninsula with the Yellow Sea to the east and the Bohai Sea to the west. It's a modern, coastal city, billed as north China's Romance Capital. Here there are European-style buildings kept intact. Here visitors can see both tradition and modernity as well as a fusion of Chinese and foreign architectural styles. The romance of Dalian residents is evident everywher.

1. “形容词+极了”表示程度之深。

An adjective followed by "ji le" in Chinese， is similar in meaning to "so" or "extremely" followed by an adjective in English.

Example:

zhè lǐ de guǎng chǎng duō jí le。
