The college prepared about 2500 kilograms of self-cultivated fruits(水果 shuǐguǒ), including cherries, watermelons and muskmelons for their graduates. All of these fruits have been cultivated(培育 péiyù) and harvested(收获 shōuhuò) by the college's scientists and staff members in the research bases of the university.
This event is held annually according to the harvest season of the fruits in the college. Over the past several years, the College of Horticulture invites students from across the university to participate in the event and to share this sweetness with everyone. Due to the novel coronavirus epidemic, the organizers just invited the graduates of the horticulture college who have been staying on campus to join in the event this year.
