A: I just wanted to see you once more before I die. Why hasn't he come with you?

我想在死之前能够见上你们一面。他怎么没来啊？

(wǒ xiǎnɡ zài sǐ zhīqián nénɡɡòu jiànshɑnɡ nǐmen yímiàn. tā zěnme méi lái a?)

 

B: He was coming to see you, but he was killed in a car accident on his way here.

他在来见你的路上出车祸了。

(tā zài lái jiànnǐ de lùshɑnɡ chū chēhuò le.)

 

A: But you weren't hurt, were you?

那你没伤着吧?

(nà nǐ méi shānɡzhe bɑ?)

 

B: I didn't even know he was coming to see you.

我不知道他要来找你。

(wǒ bù zhīdào tā yàolái zhǎonǐ.)
