One of the must-see places in Jinzhou is the well-known Bijia Mountain. In addition to the charming scenery, this mountain also boasts a rare image of Pan Gu, creator of the universe. If you have more time, you can also visit the Beiputuo Mountain to get a feel of the tranquility of this northern Buddhist mountain.

 

Language Points 语言点:

1. “一… 就” 的结构表示一个动作发生之后，紧接着另一个动作也开始发生了。

"yi … jiu" is a structure which expresses that one action is closely followed by another.

Example:

wǒ yī chū mén jiù pèng shàng tā le。

我 一 出 门 就 碰 上 他 了。

I ran into him as soon as I went out.

2. “要不然”是个连词。表示如果没有前面说的这样，就会发生后面的情况了。

"Yaoburan" is a conjunction，which means "otherwise". It expresses that if it weren't for the first situation, a second situation would occur.

Example:

Tiān xià yǔ le，yào bú rán wǒ jiù qù pǎo bù le。

天 下 雨了， 要 不 然 我 就 去 跑 步 了。

It's raining,otherwise I would go running.
