青藏高原位于中国西南部，面积约 230 万平方千米，平均海拔4000 米以上，被称为“世界屋脊”，是中国的第一大高原。
Situated in Southwest China, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau covers a land area of approximately 2.3 million km2. With a mean elevation of 4,000m above seal level, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is known as “The Roof of the World”. It is also the largest plateau in China.
