A Big fire at a slaughterhouse killed 119 people

吉林德惠米沙子镇宝源丰禽业公司发生严重火灾，至少造成至少119人死亡。The fire broke out at around 6:06 am at a slaughterhouse owned by the Jilin Baoyuanfeng Poultry Company. At least 119 people were killed.

At least 119 people were killed on Monday morning in a poultry processing plant fire in Northeast China's Jilin province, rescue headquarters /confirm/ied.

据消防员称，火灾发生于早上6点06分左右，事故地点为一屠宰场，所属于吉林德惠米沙子镇宝源丰禽业公司。The fire broke out at around 6:06 am at a slaughterhouse owned by the Jilin Baoyuanfeng Poultry Company in Mishazi township of Dehui city, according to firefighters.

事发时工厂共有300多名工人，幸存者告诉新华社记者，他们突然听到一声巨响，早上6左右就看到滚滚浓烟。据幸存者透露，火灾发生时大门是锁着的，大约有一百名工人成功逃出工厂。Over 300 workers were in the plant when the accident happened, survivors told Xinhua, adding they heard a sudden bang and then witnessed dark smoke at around 6 am. about one hundred workers have managed to escape from the plant whose gate was locked when the fire occurred, said survivors.

救援队称复杂的室内结构，狭窄的安全出口都给救援增加了困难。The complicated interior structure of the prefabricated house in which the fire broke out and the narrow exits have added difficulties to the rescue work, sources with rescue forces said.

直到周一中午12点，大火还未被扑灭，救援工作仍在继续。被困于工厂的确切人数仍未能确定，火灾原因也还在进一步调查中。As of 12 am on Monday, the fire has not been put out and rescue work is ongoing.The exact number of those trapped in the plant has not yet been confirmed and further investigation into the cause in under way.
