A Sad Poem on Persistent Love

It was twelve years ago that I first listened to the poem. At that time I was a young girl at college. I have some close friends of my hometown. We get known each other at the age 14 when we in middle school. We kept a practice to gather roughly twice each year to have some fun before we got married and settled down. I remembered that it was the second year of my college life. Chang, one of my close friends, recited this poem to us. But she cried with tears on half way and she couldn’t go to the end. We didn’t talk much on it and diverted to other topic, but each of us had known his feeling, a past sad love.

I was not quite satisfied with the reciting and the background music. But it was the BEST that I could have found.

There is also a essay based on the poem. I think it is a better reciting with a better music.
English Translation

                                             A Blossom Tree
                                                                 by Xi Murong
How can we chance upon each other
                        At my most beautiful moment?
For this scene, I’ve begged Buddha, 500 years nonstopping,
For the fate we can be interweaving.
Buddha hence changes me into a tree,
Standing by a road you'll be passing,
Blossoming, discreetly, under the sun
Every flower is my previous life's yearning.
When you trek near, listen carefully:
The trembling leaves are my longing passion.
But you pass, you pass carelessly, Leave,
Behind you, the tree that's shedding.
Dear, the shedding are not petals at all,
But my heart, my withered heart, crying!
