北京新机场高速开通啦！Expressways now open to Beijing's new airport

Two expressways(高速公路 gāosù gōnglù) connected to Beijing Daxing International Airport, the Beijing Daxing Airport Expressway, and the central section of Daxing Airport North Line Expressway, are now open to traffic.

The eight-lane Beijing Daxing Airport Expressway starts from South 5th Ring Road(南五环 nán wǔ huán) and stretches 27 kilometers to north of the airport. It is expected to shorten(缩短 suōduǎn) the drive time to 20 minutes.
 
The North Line Expressway connects(连接 liánjiē) Hebei Province to the airport. Its central section extends 15 kilometers, linking Jingkai (Beijing to Kaifeng) Expressway and Jingtai (Beijing to Taibei) Expressway.

The new roads are expected to play an important role in promoting development of the airport economic zone as well as the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei transportation network.
