Go back to eat in the meadow
There’s a saying that goes “a good horse won’t go back on the meadow he has feed himself”, which means that a man with backbone won't go back to what he has deserted or given up. For example, once a couple breaks up, they would feel reluctant to reconcile with each other. Or if a man quit his job but failed to find a better one, he will be ashamed to go back to his former employer. If you do so, you’ll be looked down upon.
