Breastfeeding Campaign

Hundreds of new moms in Fuzhou, southeast China's Fujian Province have taken part in a breastfeeding-themed campaign(活动), raising(提升) awareness(意识) of public breastfeeding(哺乳).
福建福州的上百名母乳妈妈“哺乳快闪”，以期进一步提升公众对母乳喂养的意识。

Despite(除了) scientific evidences(证据) that breastfed children grow up with a stronger immune(免疫) system(系统), the latest stats show(显示) only(仅仅) around 28% of new mothers in China breastfeed their babies.

This is significantly lower than the 80% rate seen in countries such as the United States and Japan.
