Pre-Qin 先秦 Sunzi (Sun Tzu) 孙子

孙子，名孙武，春秋末期军事家。后人尊称其为孙子、孙武子、兵圣、百世兵家之师、东方兵学的鼻祖。著有《孙子兵法》。
Sun Tzu, also known as Sun Wu, was a military strategist in the late Spring-and-Autumn Period. He was respectfully titled by future generations as Sun Tzu, SunWu zi, Soldier Saint, The Master of Soldiers for Generations and the Originator of Oriental Strategy. He is said to have authored The Art of War.
