黄海波就嫖娼事件道歉 Actor Huang Haibo Apologizes for Soliciting Sex

Renowned Chinese actor Huang Haibo apologized on Sunday for solicitation of prostitution last month, People's Daily reports.

The actor was detained for 15 days after being caught with a prostitute at a hotel in Beijing on May 16, 2014, and is being heldata penitentiary for a six-month re-education course.

Huang said he won't file for administrative review of the charges against him in the statement released via his Weibo account by his aide.

The actor added that he accepted any punishment that will be handed down to him and will try his best to make a fresh start.

Huang also begged for understanding from the public and hoped his experience can be taken as a lesson for others.

The 39-year-old actor is often referred to as "China's son-in-law," for portraying humble and lovable characters, such as his roles in hit television shows "Let's Get Married!" and "A Beautiful Daughter-in-Law."

据《人民日报》报道，知名演员黄海波周日就上个月的嫖娼事件道歉。

2014年5月16日黄海波因涉黄在北京一家酒店被捕，被拘留15日后转作收容教育半年。

他委托工作人员在微博上表示：不复议，不诉讼。

他还表示甘愿接受一切处理，并将一心改过。

他还恳求社会各界的宽容，并希望大家以他为戒。

这个39岁的演员曾因在《我们结婚吧》和《媳妇的美好时代》等热播电视剧中饰演了憨厚惹人爱的角色，被冠以“国民女婿”之名。
