张艺谋新片《长城》开始选角 明年将开拍

Zhang Yimou's new film begin casting 

Famous director Zhang Yimou's new film 'the Great Wall' has begun its casting work.
The epic film, which is produced by Legendary Pictures, will be shot by both China and U.S. teams.
The language of the film, however, will be entirely English.
It will tell a story about the mystery of China's Great Wall, one of the greatest wonders in the world.
According to Zhang, the film's actors and actresses will come from a large variety of countries, including celebrities from both China and Hollywood.
He hopes that the cast of the film might remind the audience of the 2008 Olympic Games' Opening Ceremony.
The film will begin shooting in 2015.

今年5月上映的电影《归来》，让全国观众看到了张艺谋在文艺片方面的深厚功底。由此，很多影迷感慨，“当年的张艺谋又回来了！”实际上，张艺谋自己就解释过，“我是一直在用两条腿走路，既拍文艺片，也拍商业片”。影片上映不久，张艺谋就在筹备他的新电影《长城》。

昨日，乐视影业总裁张昭在接受媒体的采访时表示：“电影《长城》正在紧锣密鼓进行，这将会是中国有史以来规模最大的一部电影。”

今年6月张艺谋就在公众场合表示：“《长城》这个项目其实准备了很长时间。应该是个有魔幻色彩的动作大片，也是大制作，我们俗称的大片。”他也坦 承，这是他第一次和好莱坞电影公司(传奇影业)合作，“这次的挑战是，影片是全英文的，还有一个重点就是如何在国外出品的影片中把握好中国元素。”至于 《长城》的中外演员阵容，张艺谋当时只透露“应该会给大家惊喜”。

张昭昨日公开表示：“演员方面会涉及很多国家，也会有好莱坞一线的演员，中国的一线的演员。我们期待这个东西出来以后，会让人联想到2008年的奥运会开幕式。”

而近日在多伦多电影节某论坛上，传奇东方影业主席Peter Loehr也透露：“张艺谋是一位电影大师，他对大场面和宏大事物有着很好的把握。北京奥运会的开幕式已经证明了一切。目前，《长城》已经开始进入选角阶段，剧本已经完成，明年将开拍。”
