about 70 percent of university students in Hong Kong are willing to work in the Chinese mainland after graduation, especially in big cities like Shanghai and Beijing, according to a survey recently. The survey, conducted by the Hong Kong United Youth Association, found that 22 percent of students said they would like to find a job in the Chinese mainland "very much" and 48 percent of those were pleasant to work there.

Of the cities, Shanghai, the financial center of China, was the first choice of 69 percent of respondents, while Beijing, ranking second, interested 21 percent of students. Since the job market in Hong Kong becomes more and more competitive, university students in Hong Kong have turned to the mainland to find opportunities.

The survey showed 90 percent of students highly valued the intern experience in big companies in the mainland, which they believed would help a lot during their job-hunting process. about 460 students in 6 universities have been interviewed, including those from the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

一份香港调查结果显示，22％和48％的人表示“非常愿意”和“愿意”到中国内地找工作，其中近七成的人最希望在上海工作。在表示愿意到内地工作的大学生中，69%的人首选上海；21%的人表示对北京最感兴趣；大连和深圳也受到关注，分别有5%和4%的学生愿意在那里工作。

随着本地就业压力增大，内地大城市对香港大学生的吸引力在逐渐增强；有约九成的受访学生都认为在内地的实习经验将有助于提升自己的竞争力。
