秦始皇帝(公元前259年-前210年),通称为秦始皇,嬴姓,赵氏,名政(正),秦庄襄王之子,为中国历史上首位皇帝,杰出的政治家、军事统帅。战国末期秦国君主、首位完成中国统一的秦王朝的开国皇帝。秦始皇是中国历史上第一个使用“皇帝”称号的君主,对中国和世界的历史均产生了深远而重大的影响,被明代思想家李贽誉为“千古一帝”。
Qin Shi Huang (259 BC – 210 BC), personal name Ying Zheng, son of the King Zhuangxiang of Qin, was the first emperor of Chinese history, a prominent statesman and military commander. He was the king of the State of Qin during the Warring-States Period. He became the first emperor of a unified China as well as the first to use the title “Emperor”. He, lauded as “the top emperor in history” by Li Zhi, a philosophy thinker of the Ming Dynasty, has left a profound influence on the Chinese and perhaps even world history.
