王维生于公元701年,字摩诘,汉族,祖籍山西祁县,唐朝诗人,外号"诗佛"。开元九年(721年)中进士,任太乐丞相。今存诗400余首。王维精通佛学,佛教有一部《维摩诘经》,是维摩诘向弟子们讲学的书,这是王维名和字的由来。王维诗书画都很有名,非常多才多艺。音乐也很精通。
Wang Wei (born in 701), a great poet in the Tang Dynasty also known for his courtesy name Mojie and alias Poetic Buddha, was of the Han nationality with his ancestry origin in Qi county, Shanxi province. In the year 721, he passed the Dianshi (final imperial examination) to earn himself the academic title Jinshi, and took the post of Chengxiang (prime minister in ancient China). Today there are over 400 poems of his that have been preserved. He was a master of Buddhism, and a piece of Buddhist work The Holy Teaching of Vimalakirti was named after him, which was a book used by him to teach his students. Besides, being very versatile, Wang Wei was also very famous for his paintings and music.
主要成就:创造了水墨山水画派。近体诗严守声律意态豪放。
