Cai E 蔡锷

蔡锷（1882年12月18日－1916年11月8日），原名艮寅，字松坡，汉族，湖南宝庆（即今邵阳市）人。遗著被编为《蔡松坡集》。蔡锷曾经响应辛亥革命，发动反对袁世凯洪宪帝制的护国战争，是中华民国初年的杰出军事领袖。
Cai E (December 18, 1882 - November 8, 1916), original name Genyin and courtesy name Songpo, Han Nationality, was a native of Baoqing (present-day Shaoyang City), Hunan. His writings were collected into the Selected Works of Cai Songpo. In response to the Xinhai Revolution in 1911, Cai led National Protection War to fight against Yuan Shikai’s Hongxian Monarchy. Cai E was an outstanding military leader in the early period of the Republic of China.
