When you use Google Translate, every time you think you have a better translation than offered, you can now tell Google.
The company has launched a crowdsourcing initiative, called Google Translate Community (link), to improve its online translation services.
The Community is open to everyone with a Google account. It welcomes people to offer their own translations and validate current translations.
There is also an "Improve this translation" feature on the translating screen that lets users submit their own corrections or suggestions.
Google promises to incorporate users' corrections and over time give users more visibility into the impact of their contributions.
Google Translate currently supports 81 languages.
