Dàmèi hé xiăomèi, yì qĭ qù shōumài.
大妹和小妹，一起去收麦。

The old sister and the young sister go to get wheat together.

Dàmèi gē xiăomài, xiăomèi gē dàmài.
大妹割小麦，小妹割大麦。

The old sister cuts the wheat, the young sister cuts the barley.

Dàmèi bāng xiăomèi tiāo dàmài, xiăomèi bāng dàmèi kŭn xiăomài.
大妹帮小妹挑大麦，小妹帮大妹捆小麦。

The old sister helps the young sister carry the barley, the young sister helps the old sister carry the wheat.

Dàmèi xiăomèi shōu wán mài, gāogāoxìngxìng qù dămài.
大妹小妹收完麦，高高兴兴去打麦。

They all finish harvesting and go to thrash them.
