(Fēng Chuī Màilàng)
(Yǎnchàng: Cài Míng, Pān Chángjiāng)
Faraway under the blue sky,
surging up the waves of barley.
It's there when you and I used to
love each other.
With the taste of harvest,
the breeze blows on my face.
It hits upon my mind that
your soft words once wet my eyes.
啦… (én la én la)
en...la...en...la...
We used to sing in the open country.
We made wishes in winter.
But we didn't wait for the autumn scene
under the sunshine.
Just let the dissolved promise dance
with the west wind
just like your soft hair,
which once gave forth fragrance to my dream.
啦… (én la én la)
en...la...en...la...
【about Singers】
Cai Ming and Pan Changjiang are famous Chinese skit actors. Both of them performed on the "CCTV Spring Festival Gala" on February 9, 2013. Their skit "Jump If You Like To" won applause for Cai Ming's brave speech when she addressed Pan Changjiang sarcastically and called him a dwarf. On Saturday night's "CCTV Lantern Festival Gala," the two sang the song "The Wind That Shakes the Barley" written by Chinese pop song singer Li Jian.
