“鲤鱼捕捞季”到了 Annual carp haul before Christmas

Fishermen(渔民) across the Czech Republic have begun(开始) their annual(年度的) ritual of catching(捕捞) carp(鲤鱼) for the Christmas markets(圣诞节市场).

The centuries old tradition(传统) sees them beat(击打) the water with sticks(棍子) then trap(困住) the carp in a circle(圈子) with their boats(船).
