下江陵

 Lǐ　bái

李白

Zhāo　cí 　Báidì　cǎiyún　jiān,

朝辞白帝彩云间，

Qiānlǐ　Jiānɡlínɡ　yírì　huán。

千里江陵一日还。

Liǎnɡ’àn　yuánshēnɡ　tí　búzhù，

两岸猿声啼不住，

Qīnɡzhōu　yǐ ɡuò　wànchónɡshān

轻舟已过万重山。

 

Through The Yangzi Gorges

Li Bai

From the walls of Baidi high in the coloured dawn,

To Jiangling by night-fall is three hundred miles

Yet monkeys are still calling on both banks behind me

To my boat these ten thousand mountains away.

 

（1）白帝城：（Báidìchénɡ），地名，在今重庆市奉节县城东白帝山上。

（2）朝：（zhāo，the pronunciation is not "cháo" here）, means morning。

（3）辞：（cí），means say good－bye to some place。

（4）彩云间：（cǎiyún　jiān），because the Bai Di City is one the top of Bai Di Moutain, when looking from the foot, It looks like standing in the clouds。

（5）江陵：（Jiānɡlínɡ），地名，今湖北荆（jīnɡ）州市。从白帝城到江陵约一千二百里，其间包括七百里三峡。　　

（6）还：（huán，the pronunciation is not "hái" here）, means to return 。

（7）猿：（yuán），means ape。 　

（8）啼：（tí），means to call or cry。 　　

（9）住：（zhù），means to stop。 　　

（10）万重山：（wànchónɡshān），means Many mountains。

 

背景：唐代伟大诗人李白在流放途中遇赦（yù　shè， to be pardoned）返回时所创作的一首七言绝句，是李白诗作中流传最广的名篇之一。诗人是把遇赦后愉快的心情和江山的壮丽多姿、顺水行舟的流畅轻快融为一 体来表达的。全诗不无夸张和奇想，写得流丽飘逸，惊世骇俗（jīnɡshì　hàisú），但又不假雕琢（diāozhuó），随心所欲，自然天成。
