6800元一个苹果 两个月未售出

近期，南京新街口一超市推出的天价苹果，该苹果直径约20厘米，比普通苹果大出不少，差不多有足球那么大，表皮上面还印有一个观音像，吸引了许多市民的眼球，但近两个月以来无人问津。


A gigantic apple bearing a Buddhist icon sells for 6,800 yuan ($1,106) at a supermarket in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The 1.2-kilogram fruit is packaged in plastic bearing an image of the Buddhist goddess Guanyin. According to the supermarket employees, the apple was imported from Japan and has been on sale for two months.
