The anthropomorphic robot, hitchBOT, is ready to begin its 6,000-km cross-country journey on Highway 102 outside of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada on Sunday, July 27, 2014. The hitchhiking robot is part of a social experiment to see if drivers will pick up and dro off the robot in one piece to an art gallery in Victoria, British Columbia.
