Wei Zheng 魏徵

魏徵（580年－643年），字玄成。汉族，唐巨鹿人（今河北邢台市巨鹿县人，又说河北晋州市或河北馆陶市）人，唐朝政治家。以直谏敢言著称，是中国史上最负盛名的谏臣。
Wei Zheng (580-643), of the Han nationality, from Julu (Julu county, Xingtai city, Hebei province while some others also refer it to Jinzhou city or Guantao city in Hebei province), courtesy named Xuancheng, was a great statesman in the Tang Dynasty. He was known as the most famous counseling official that offered direct advice.
主要成就：中国史上最负盛名的谏臣。位列凌烟阁二十四功臣。
Major achievements: most well-known statesman for giving adverse advices, and being among the 24 meritorious statesmen of the Lingyan Pavilion.
代表作品：《隋书·序论》和梁，陈，齐各书的《总论》，《次礼记》
Representative works: Prologue of the Book of Sui, Preface to Book of Liang, Book of Chen, and Book of Qi, and Ci Liji (Secondary Book of Etiquette).
