广州市质量技术监督局办公室有关工作人员25日说，据该部门了解确认②，中国国家主席习近平夫人彭丽媛在近期赴俄罗斯的出访活动中所穿的套装及拎的手袋，均为创立于1996年的一家广州品牌。
中国国家主席习近平22日启程对俄罗斯、坦桑尼亚、南非、刚果（布）进行国事访问并出席金砖国家领导人第五次会晤。习近平主席夫人彭丽媛陪同出访。
“这次出访活动对于中国本土时尚品牌来说是一个利好③。这一点已经得到了业内人士的认同。”知名时尚杂志《VOGUE服饰与美容》主编张宇说，“这意味着在和国际时尚品牌的市场争夺战中，中国本土时尚品牌正在迎来一个新的契机④。”

China's First Lady Strikes Glamorous Note
Peng Liyuan was the talk of Chinese social media over the weekend during a trip to Russia when she emerged as China's new first lady.
Pictures of Peng stepping off a plane with President Xi Jinping in Moscow on Friday – the first stop on his first trip abroad since assuming China's presidency on March 14 – went viral online with praise for her attire: black high heels and stockings, an understated leather bag and a light blue scarf emerging from beneath a dark trench coat, collar turned up against the wind.
Peng's choice of attire has sparked a flurry of excitement over an independent homegrown label. After bloggers identified Peng's bag, coat and scarf as products from the Guangzhou-based outlet Exception, the company's website crashed on last Friday from an overload of traffic. On Sunday the site was still loading only intermittently.
"First ladies are ambassadors of the culture and the design and of the soft power of a country. I'm glad that she chose to wear a Chinese brand and take up that role of spokesperson for Chinese design here," said Hong Huang, publisher of the fashion magazine iLook and one of the most popular microbloggers in China.
