Give me a few ideas, what should I send to my friend for his birthday? 

B:是好朋友还是一般朋友？
shì hǎo péng yǒu hái shì yī bān péng yǒu 
Are you two close? 

A:是非常要好的朋友，他是一个外国人，现在在中国工作。
shì fēi cháng yào hǎo de péng yǒu ，tā shì yī gè wài guó rén ，xiàn zài zài zhōng guó gōng zuò 
Very close. He is a foreigner, and he works in China.
 
B:他有什么特殊的爱好吗？
tā yǒu shí me tè shū de ài hǎo ma ？
Does he have any hobbies? 
 
A:他对中国文化很有兴趣，喜欢收藏文物。
tā duì zhōng guó wén huà hěn yǒu xìng qù ，xǐ huān shōu cáng wén wù 
He's interested in learning about Chinese culture and likes collecting antiques. 

B:那你送他一件瓷器怎么样？我想他一定会喜欢的。
nà nǐ sòng tā yī jiàn cí qì zěn me yàng ？wǒ xiǎng tā yī dìng huì xǐ huān de 
What about getting him something made of porcelain? I'm sure he would like it. 

 A:这主意不错，谢谢了
 zhè zhǔ yì bú cuò ，xiè xiè le
