中情局分析师:美国政府常年对中国实施黑客行为 Edward Snowden says US hacks China

因为揭发美国大规模互联网间谍行为而名声大噪的美国中央情报局前雇员爱德华 斯诺登昨天接受了《南华早报》采访。他透露,美国政府多年来一直在攻击香港和中国大陆的计算机。

斯诺登揭露,美国国家安全局饱受争议的棱镜项目(绝密级电子监听计划)监听范围包括香港和大陆的人员与机构。

斯诺登说,美国国家安全局自2009年以来一直在攻击香港和大陆地区的电脑.他表示,他展示的文件并未透露任何有关中国军事系统的信息。

斯诺登透露,香港被监听目标包括香港中文大学,政府官员,商业人士和学生。文件也显示,美国国家安全局从事针对中国大陆目标的攻击活动。

Edward Snowden Says US Hacks China

Edward Snowden, a 29-year-old former CIA engineer currently said to be hiding out in Hong Kong, has claimed that the U.S. National Security Agency has been hacking computer and telecommunications networks in China since 2009. His revelation lifts the lid on America's longtime cyber operations in China, putting the U.S. in an embarrassing position.

Snowden, who passed top-secret related documents to British newspaper The Guardian, revealed in an interview with Hong Kong's South China Morning Post that one of the surveillance targets included the Chinese University of Hong Kong and public officials, business people and students.

The Hong Kong newspaper reported that according to a number of confidential sources, a highly secretive unit of NSA, the Office of Tailored Access Operations, or TAO, has been successfully penetrating Chinese computer systems for almost 15 years, generating some of the best and most reliable intelligence information about what is going on inside China.
Snowden said he believes there have been more than 61,000 NSA hacking operations globally.

"We hack network backbones -- such huge internet routers, basically -- that give us access to the communications of hundreds of thousands of computers without having to hack every single one," he said.

Earlier last week, The Guardian revealed that it had acquired documents showing that the NSA has developed a tool to analyze and map the intelligence it collects from computer and telephone networks.

If Snowden's allegations are true, they support China's image as more of a victim rather than aggressor of hacking.
