7月10日第五轮中美战略与经济对话第一天,中美就气候变化合作方面的五个新的行动计划达成一致。

此次中美双方就气候变化合作达成的五个行动计划包括:载重汽车减排,增加碳捕集利用和封存,提高建筑和工业能效,加强温室气体数据收集和管理,以及推广智能电网。

中美战略与经济对话是中美双方就事关两国关系发展的战略性,长期性,全局性问题而进行的战略对话,首轮对话于2009年7月在美国华盛顿举行。

China and the United States agreed to five new initiatives in their collaboration towards addressing climate change in Washington, DC, on the first day of the fifth round of the China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue (S&ED) on July 10.

The five initiatives include: Reducing emissions from heavy-duty and other vehicles; increasing carbon capture, utilization, and storage; increasing energy efficiency in buildings, industry, and transport; improving greenhouse gas data collection and management; and finally, promoting smart power grids.

The China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue is a strategic dialogue between China and the US to exchange views on issues of strategic, long-term and overall significance in their bilateral relations. The first round of dialogue started on July 2009 in Washington D.C. of the United States.
