　　本周 我们先来到乳山

　　This week, we first visited

　　Rushan City

　　然后进入海阳

　　before entering Haiyang.

　　最后 终于到达了

　　And later we finally arrived

　　大名鼎鼎的青岛

　　in the famous city Qingdao.

　　刚到乳山市的大乳山度假区

　　Soon after we reached the Darushan

　　Holiday Resort,

　　看着眼前的椰子树 茅草小屋

　　we found palm trees and thatched huts.

　　好像置身南海

　　We felt as if we were in southern China

　　差点以为走错了地方

　　and almost thought we had come

　　to a wrong place.

　　银滩的称号名副其实

　　The Yintan Beach is worthy

　　of its name.

　　洁白的沙滩一眼望不到头

　　The white beach stretches

　　as far as eye can reach.

　　三观亭 仙人桥

　　The Sanguan Pavilion and Xianren Bridge

　　都让人流连忘返

　　are both fascinating scenic spots.

　　海阳大秧歌载歌载舞 热闹活泼

　　The Haiyang Dayangge dance is lively

　　and full of action.

　　有着它独特的韵味

　　It has its unique charms.

　　不愧是国家级的非物质文化遗产

　　No wonder it has been listed as part the

　　national-level Intangible Cultural Heritage,

　　进入青岛 整洁而漂亮的市容

　　Entering Qingdao, we saw clean

　　and beautiful streets,

　　毫不辜负这座城市的美名

　　really matching up the name

　　of the city.

　　When we visited Wusi Square

　　and Zhanqiao Pier,

　　亲眼看见这些标志性建筑时

　　the symbols of Qingdao,

　　才发现和看图片

　　we realized they are far more beautiful

　　是完全不一样的感受

　　than their photo images in magazines.

　　在八大观漫步

　　Strolling around the Badaguan

　　Scenic Area,

　　不时能见到精美而雅致的小洋楼

　　we saw many elegant foreign-style

　　buildings,

　　这些美丽的建筑

　　These beautiful houses

　　又为青岛增添了几份异国风情

　　add some exotic charms to the

　　city of Qingdao.

　　可是 怎么才能说服别的国家呢

　　But how can we persuade the

　　I've got an idea ..."

　　几天后

　　A few days later,

　　吴王夫差向中原各国发出邀请

　　King Fuchai sends out invitations to

　　the various states in central China

　　约他们到黄池会盟

　　for an alliance meeting in Huangchi.

　　各国迫于吴国势力强大

　　Compelled by the powerfulness of Wu,

　　只好来到了黄池

　　all the other kings come to Huangchi.

　　吴王夫差太霸道了

　　"King Chuchai of Wu is so domineering.

　　我们为什么要听他的

　　But why should we obey him?"

　　吴国现在国力太强盛

　　"Wu is really powerful.

　　咱们惹不起呀

　　We can't afford to offend him!"

　　吴王夫差

　　"The Wu King Fuchai

　　已经率领卫队到达城外了

　　with his troops has arrived outside

　　the city gate!"

　　夫差率领的卫队来到了城外

　　The troops led by Fuchai are deployed

　　outside the city gate.

　　左军白盔 白甲 白旗

　　The left column is all white, white helmets,

　　white armors and white flags.

　　远远看去像是遍野盛开的白花

　　Seen from a distance, the troops

　　look like white flowers.

　　中军红盔 红甲 红旗

　　The central column is all red, red helmets,

　　red armors and fed flags.

　　看上去像是熊熊的火焰

　　It looks like a raging flame.

　　右军黑盔 黑甲 黑旗

　　And the right column is all black, black

　　helmets, black armors and black flags,

　　就像乌云一般

　　resembling a dark cloud.

　　夫差威武地立在队前

　　Fuchai stands majestically

　　at the front of the troops.

　　各国国王看到夫差如此的威风

　　Seeing how powerful Fuchai is,

　　只好推举他做了中原盟主

　　all the other kings agree to let him be

　　the leader of the alliance.

　　“如火如荼”这则成语的意思是

　　The idiom "ru huo ru tu" literally

　　像火一样红

　　means to be as red as fire

　　像茅草的白花一样白

　　and as white as white flowers,

　　形容军容浩大

　　used to describe an army massed

　　together in a grand formation.

　　现在常用来比喻气势旺盛

　　Now it is used mainly as a metaphor

　　for a vigorous momentum.
